Rules of Entry and Play
1.0 All children must be supervised at all times by a responsible Adult. Parents/Guardians accept full responsibility for the supervision of their child/children. Nature and Nurture staff may be present in the play area to enhance the experience of your child/children and to tidy up, however, they are not responsible for the supervision and behaviour of children.
1.1 Our play areas are more suited to children aged 0-7 years however children of all ages are welcome to play. We ask that older children are mindful of younger children.
1.2 Nature and Nurture contains toys intended for use by children up to the age of 7 years. As is the case in most homes, it is inevitable that children aged 2 or less may come into contact with toys intended for children of 3 yrs upwards. We have taken safety precautions to reduce the risk of such toys posing a hazard to younger children, however, parents remain responsible for supervision of their children at all times’.
1.3 Any child or adult causing wilful damage to the facilities, fixtures, fittings or play equipment will be liable to pay for any damage caused. They will also be asked to leave the premises without refund.
1.4 We have a right to ask an adult or child to leave should they pose a danger or threat to staff or customers. Fighting, bullying, abusive language, or illegal activity of any kind will not be tolerated and will be asked to leave without refund.
1.5 To prevent the spread of infection; children who are unwell, or who have been unwell, must not visit Nature and Nurture for 48 hours. Our refund policy applies and ticket transfers to another date require a minimum of 24 hours notice.
1.6 If a child or adult becomes sick or infectious whilst at Nature and Nurture they will be politely asked to leave.
1.7 No food or drink is to be brought into the play areas. Children and adults must take off their shoes before entering a play area.
1.8 No running in the play area.
1.9 Our role play village play pods are designed for children and doorways are lower than a normal door. We ask that adults mind their heads when walking in and out of each play pod.
2.0 If you arrive after your session starts you are still required to leave at the time of session end.
Café
2.1 Everyone is welcome to sit in the Café. If a session is fully booked however, please move your belongings from the table if you’re no longer sitting at one. We will endeavour to make more storage space available. Please let staff know if you aren’t able to place your belongings anywhere.
2.2 Only food and drink purchased on the premises may be consumed in Nature and Nurture with the exception of baby food, baby milk and food required for medical reasons or dietary requirements. Please do not bring any nuts onto the premises in case of allergies.
2.3 We are a breastfeeding friendly business. Unfortunately, we do not have any private areas for breastfeeding, but you are welcome to do so anywhere in the premises.
2.4 One of our staff members has a severe peanut allergy. Please do not bring peanuts into the premises.
Changes to Bookings, Transfers & Cancellations
3.0 All children aged 0-7 years old and those who are aged 8 and above who are playing at Nature and Nurture must purchase a ticket. Adults must also purchase an adult ticket.
3.1 Accompanying older siblings who are entering the role play and sensory areas must purchase a child ticket. Accompanying older siblings who are not entering the role play and sensory areas do not require a ticket.
3.2 All ticket holders admitted to Nature and Nurture must hold a valid ticket obtained via our website’s online booking system or purchased on entry. We do not accept tickets from third party ticket providers.
3.3 The person purchasing tickets accepts these Terms & Conditions on behalf of every visitor and is responsible for ensuring these Terms are communicated to and followed by visitors attending.
3.4 All tickets purchased are non-refundable. If you wish to change your booking you must contact us by email at info@naturenurtureni.com giving us 24 hours’ notice prior to the start time of the original booking. You will be offered the opportunity to move your booking to an alternative date within 3 months of the original pre-booked play session.
3.5 Ticket prices may change from time to time and our booking systems will be updated accordingly.
3.6 In circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to cancel a Ticket. We will endeavour to notify you as soon as we become aware that this is necessary. All bookings are non-refundable. If we are required to close our venue on the date of your visit due to circumstances beyond our control we will contact you as soon as is practicable and transfer your booking to a date of your choosing.
Photography, Camera and Mobile Devices
4.0 The privacy of other visitors must be respected. Visitors can take photographs of their own children for personal, private, non-commercial purposes only.
4.1 Nature and Nurture only shares photographs of children playing on our website, social media or promotional materials with consent from parents/carers.
Security and Safety
4.2 CCTV systems are installed externally and internally at Nature and Nurture to enhance the security of the building. The intended purpose of CCTV is for:
· Protecting the building and its assets both during and after opening hours
· Reducing the incidence of crime and anti-social behaviour
· Assist in identifying, apprehending, and prosecuting offenders of criminal activities.
4.3 Video monitoring of public areas on our premises is for security purposes only and is limited to uses that do not violate the individual's reasonable expectation to privacy.
