Hi we’re Becky and Clarissa. We opened Nature and Nurture in December 2023 and it’s been such an amazing journey so far!

Who are we?

Becky (left) is a doctor, currently in GP training, who loves evidence based practice. Imaginative Play is so important for early childhood development - the evidence is there!

Clarissa (right) has a degree in Early Childhood Studies and has been a pre-school leader. She is completing her PGCE this year to become a qualified primary school teacher. She puts a lot of thought into our play areas to ensure children get the most learning (and fun!) out of it.

We wouldn't be able to run without our brilliant staff. They'll welcome you in with a smile and ensure you have the best time possible. Most of them are mums so they're very understanding!

Why did we open Nature and Nurture?

We have enjoyed bring our kids to the many new role play centres that have opened in Northern Ireland the past few years but we were spending a lot of time travelling to them! We wanted to open one in Lisburn, our city, and we had all these ideas for our play area. We wanted to make a play centre that was educational, safe, accessible and we really really wanted to serve good coffee and traybakes!
